South Tynedale Railway

Come for a ride on the North of England’s double gold award winning narrow gauge railway winding from Alston into the South Tyne Valley in the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It’s a great day out for families whatever the weather, we’re very dog friendly and all our trains are accessible too. We’re always looking for volunteers so do come and have a chat!
