A campaign guide has been launched to support anyone wanting to take part in Community Business Weekend 2019. The guide also includes links to a number of free resources for people to use.
This year’s theme is #CommunityBusinessMatters. We’re asking people involved in community businesses and local people to share why #CommunityBusinessMatters to them.
The guide includes links to:
- social media templates to help spread the word on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
- press release templates to promote your involvement to local media
- template letter to send your local school or college
- events guide to help plan your event
And remember to upload details about your community business in time for when our map launches this month. Anyone who does so will receive free stickers and bunting!
The pack has lots of ways for you to support Community Business Weekend 2019. We have tried to make it as simple as possible for you to get involved, but if you require anything else from us please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Now in its fourth year, Community Business Weekend will run from Thursday 16th May to Sunday 19th May, with people across the country encouraged to visit a community business near them and find out what they do. Last year saw more than 17,000 people visit 225 community businesses to learn all about the impact they are having, and how to get involved.
If you haven’t already done so, please remember to sign up to Community Business Weekend.
