Skills share

If you are looking for volunteers, trustees or staff, let your visitors know.

Set up a notice board. Ask people to scribble down how they could contribute. Or ask them to sign up to a list of skills needed. Set up an offered and wanted board (we’ve included cards in your gift pack) or host a skills auction – delve into untapped skills, and find out who is out there. Post up the opportunities you have, any gaps you are struggling with, and see if anyone fancies taking them on.

If you are feeling really creative, you could run an activity with a paper fortune teller, asking questions such as the amount of time they can spare/ the tasks they prefer, where the results reveal the ways that people could connect with your business.

Make sure you get their contact details so you can get in touch with them after your event.
