An easy way to get your story across is to create a simple timeline showing how you started, where you are now and where you want to get to. People are fascinated by beginnings – the motivations for how and why something started. The smallest of details can often turn out to be the most important.
One way you could do this is hang up a length of string and peg up something to note the dates you want to highlight, write some specific events and moments onto luggage tags and peg or tie them up in order. Maybe end your timeline with a way for people to get involved to achieve your future – that could be buying community shares, becoming a member, becoming a loyal customer or volunteering.
